UrthLeaf Article Highlights of 2020 – Part 2

Welcome back to our analysis of the CBD stories we bought you throughout 2020.

It’s been one heck of a year! UrthLeaf have tried to keep spirits high by making learning about CBD interesting. As the summer approached and we slowly returned to (sort-of) normal life, we delved into our best-selling products, anxiety management, living a healthy life, and how to use CBD for medical purposes.

We hope you’re enjoying the holidays. Peace and love from UrthLeaf.

1. UrthLeaf Best-Selling Products

At the end of June and beginning of July, we highlighted our top-selling products. We put it all out on the table!

We particularly enjoyed writing about our CBD Hemp Healing Salve and CBD Eucalyptus Bath Bomb. UrthLeaf’s Bath Bomb makes luxurious evenings truly worthwhile! Eucalyptus is soothing and calming and is great for clearing sinuses. Come home from a long day at work, drop the bomb into the bath and instantly benefit from the eucalyptus aroma.

UrthLeaf’s CBD Hemp Healing Salve has been created to relieve the effects of inflammation and pain. Combined with soothing beeswax, relaxing lavender and healthy coconut oil, CBD strikes again in one of our top-selling products.

2. How to Manage Anxiety at Home

If there’s one subject we understand well, it’s anxiety. It is a highly complex mental health condition that affects each individual differently. We’re sure about one thing though, CBD is promising as a successful treatment for anxiety.

CBD can reduce your stress symptoms but there are many techniques you can try at home to live a calm and worry-free life. Daily yoga, exercise and meditation are all healthy, non-medical solutions for dealing with anxiety. As we potentially face another year living life close to home, include some of these tips into your daily routine and notice your monkey mind calm down.

3. How to Live a Healthy Life During Covid-19

Leading on from managing anxiety at home, we continued with our tips for life at home.

We believe during this difficult year it has never been more important to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Living mindfully and healthily contributes to better mental health and self-esteem. As we are spending more time alone, cut off from some of the activities and people we enjoy, it can be easy to slip into a self-destructive, lazy temperament. It is so important to keep working towards a healthy lifestyle.

In this story, we shared tips such as staying hydrated and eating well. These two points may seem very obvious; however, they are two habits that we can easily lose. How many times have you reached the end of the day and realised you haven’t drunk enough water? Or spent several days in a row eating nothing but sugary snacks and microwave meals?

It is very easy to slip into bad eating habits as we cycle through our busy days. Consuming plenty of water, and fruit and vegetables will assist you in staying positive and proactive during lockdowns.

4. How to Use CBD Oil for Pets

At the beginning of September, we took a break from providing lifestyle and CBD advice to humans and focused on our four-legged friends! As pet owners, we have a responsibility to look after our pets and making sure they are healthy and happy.

Pets suffer with various conditions, in exactly the same way humans do. They can experience anxiety, arthritis, poor appetite and even cancer. Like humans, there is potential for CBD to help alleviate the symptoms of these difficult conditions.

Vet treatments can be very expensive, so many people are turning to natural remedies, such as CBD, to see if they have a comforting effect on their pets. UrthLeaf guide their customers so they feel comfortable giving the right dosage to their pets. CBD oil is considered very safe and with little side effects, so letting your pets consume it shouldn’t be a worry.

5. Can CBD be Used for Medical Purposes?

As we had covered CBD for Pets and their illnesses, we realised we needed to explore using CBD for human medical purposes. It’s clear that CBD is popular in skincare and beauty products, but how about using it as medicine?

As it reacts harmoniously with the human body, studies have shown that CBD provides many benefits as an alternative to traditional over-the-counter drugs. As long as the CBD product you are buying contains less than 0.3% THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) then it is perfectly legal to buy.

CBD may reduce the effects of anxiety and depression and skin conditions like acne. Studies have shown it has promise in areas such as cancer treatment; relieving the symptoms associated with common cancer care. It may also work well as a sleep aid as it helps to lower our stress response.

As always, it is best to check with your physician before embarking on a new medicine journey.

6. How to Use CBD for Injuries

Continuing with our “CBD IS GREAT” theme, at the end of October we wrote a story about the effects of using CBD for injuries.

Some people suffer from injuries regularly, through exercise or a physical job. Others suffer injuries from everyday accidents. Either way, the pain and healing process can be long and uncomfortable.

Traditional medicine can deliver side effects like headaches, drowsiness, or loss of appetite. Studies have shown that CBD has very little, if any, side effects and can be considered as a natural alternative remedy for pain.

If you’re struggling to heal from a long-standing injury, or your workouts are suffering from long-term healing, then consider CBD as a natural pain reliever. Consult with your physician first.

As 2020 comes to a close (most of us are breathing a sigh of relief!) let us look back over the year and be thankful. Here’s to a better 2021 and remember to consider UrthLeaf for all your high-quality CBD needs!
